ABOUT ME
A little about me...
I have a First Class Honours degree from Staffordshire University in Film, Television and Radio Studies. A couple of years after graduating I went to the Universiteit van Amsterdam to do a Masters in Film Studies. This was then followed up by a PGCCE at Nottingham University.
I've been teaching in the UK higher education sector since 2008, broken up with a couple of years of teaching in Malaysia - The One Academy of Communication Design. I have experience of teaching contextual studies on a range of practical creative degree programmes such as Graphic Design, Interactive Media to Film and Television Production. More recently I am teaching on modules for degrees on PR and Advertising, Digital Media, and Media and Cultural Studies.

My teaching style is inclusive, interactive and student-centered. I aim to build a good rapport with my students by including their views and ideas into taught sessions. I also aim to provide a safe environment to learn and I encourage questions to be asked, either during the formal taught sessions or privately in emails or tutorials.
